Official processing: up to 10 business days. During summer and Carnival peak periods, allow longer. If your e-Visa isn't approved in time, the consulate visa takes 3+ weeks to schedule plus processing time. Recommendation: apply at least 4 weeks before travel.

Visa on arrival at Queen Alia International Airport and Aqaba is standard and takes minutes. e-Visa approved in minutes to a few hours. The Jordan Pass (bundling entry visa + major attraction tickets) is a strong value for most visitors — purchased online, usually approved the same day.

US passport holders receive a visa stamp on arrival at Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and other UAE airports. No pre-application needed. If you prefer to pre-register, e-Visas are available through ICA (Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship) — typically approved within 1 business day.
